Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Haşim Kavi started the match with the kick off. Mehmet Ali Canaydin came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by MERSİN SK's Haşim Kavi. But to his dismay, Haşim Kavi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 16th minute Haşim Kavi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Ali Canaydin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Haşim Kavi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mehmet Ali Canaydin. Orta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Haşim Kavi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Güngör Kazan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mehmet Emrah Adal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Güngör Kazan in the 30th minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Tolga Satılmış was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MERSİN SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Orta the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mirza Eyüpoğlu in the 43rd minute of play forced Orta's goalkeeper Mehmet Ali Canaydin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orta's Mehmet Ali Canaydin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mirza Eyüpoğlu in the 45th minute of play. The Orta players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. MERSİN SK were winning 0-3.

Mirza Eyüpoğlu's late challenge caught a Orta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mirza Eyüpoğlu helped the player get up and apologised. If Güngör Kazan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the game, Ömer Ünsal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MERSİN SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Orta the free kick. In the 59th minute, Mevlüt Kaptan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ata Arısal hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. When Güngör Kazan came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Orta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Güngör Kazan couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baki Şeref got free with Mehmet Ali Canaydin in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that İshak Zevahir's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mehmet Emrah Adal was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Mehmet Ali Canaydin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mirza Eyüpoğlu in the 81st minute of play. MERSİN SK's Mehmet Emrah Adal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İshak Zevahir in the 82nd minute of play. The supporters of Orta booed when MERSİN SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ömer Ünsal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haşim Kavis short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Mehmet Ali Canaydin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. MERSİN SK's Mehmet Emrah Adal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Güngör Kazan in the 93rd minute of play. Haşim Kavi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Ali Canaydin having to interfere. The Orta supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching MERSİN SK's performance. The match ended with a win for MERSİN SK.
