After a rather tough play, Ilgin FK's Mithat Nebi got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Alper Suerkan acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 4th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Mustafa Hamit Orcan. Şanver Kayra's late challenge caught a Siran JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Şanver Kayra helped the player get up and apologised. Giray Elçin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alper Suerkan. Ilgin FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ahmet Sedat Ethem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Alper Suerkan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Sedat Ethem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Sungurbey Tümerkin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Siran JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Sungurbey Tümerkin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alper Suerkan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 33 minutes into the game, Ilgin FK's Mehmet Ferit Çelikhan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kudret Oykut made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Alper Suerkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Sedat Ethem in the 36th minute of play. After 38 minutes, Demiralp Hançer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ilgin FK and the Siran JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th minute, Ilgin FK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ahmet Sedat Ethem fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 45th match minute, Ilgin FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tolunay Taçyıldız to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 46 minutes, Sungurbey Tümerkin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Siran JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sungurbey Tümerkin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Ilgin FK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Ahmet Sedat Ethem made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Sedat Ethem in the 54th minute of play forced Ilgin FK's goalkeeper Alper Suerkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ilgin FK's Alper Suerkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sungurbey Tümerkin in the 57th minute of play. The supporters of Ilgin FK booed when Siran JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Müfit Dalga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ilgin FK's Kubilay Namal got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Mehmet Ferit Çelikhan came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Ilgin FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mehmet Ferit Çelikhan couldn't finish the play. After 71 played minutes Ilgin FK got a freekick which was hit by Tolunay Taçyıldız. After a defensive mix-up in Ilgin FK's zone, Sungurbey Tümerkin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alper Suerkan came out of the goal and Sungurbey Tümerkin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Şanver Kayra was shown his second yellow card after 73 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Şanver Kayra kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Alper Suerkan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Sedat Ethem, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Mehmet Ferit Çelikhan's late challenge caught a Siran JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mehmet Ferit Çelikhan helped the player get up and apologised. If Ahmet Sedat Ethem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alper Suerkan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sungurbey Tümerkin's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. When Ahmet Sedat Ethem, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 89 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Alper Suerkan was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Ahmet Sedat Ethem struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Alper Suerkan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Siran JK. Üzeyir Seçkin kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ilgin FK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
