With a left leg Serter Bayar saved Kigi FK from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tevfik Özata in the 22nd minute of play forced MERSİN SK's goalkeeper Mehmet Emrah Adal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Ercüment Başdaş managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kigi FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ercüment Başdaş was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mehmet Emrah Adal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
