After some careless play in the Hatayspor defense, Aybek Kabakçı kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ercüment Öztan. The Hatayspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ercüment Öztan should have stopped the shot. In the 28th minute, Atakan Açıkalın hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cihan Demirman, 29 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ercüment Öztan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Berkant Başar's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Serhat Yenisey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şerif Bilgin having to interfere. When Tayyar Kırdar fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sultanbeyli's protests and gave Tayyar Kırdar a yellow card for diving instead. Ergin Er fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 41st minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. 48 minutes into the match, Berkant Başar notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Hatayspor's Ercüment Öztan. Ercüment Öztan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Berkant Başar to strike the kick off in the second half. When Hayati Acemoğlu fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sultanbeyli's protests and gave Hayati Acemoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Hatayspor booed when Sultanbeyli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hayati Acemoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şerif Perver in the 55th minute of play forced Sultanbeyli's goalkeeper Şerif Bilgin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ercüment Öztan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berkant Başar in the 62nd minute of the match. Sultanbeyli's Şerif Bilgin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serhat Yenisey in the 85th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Serhat Yenisey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Şerif Bilgin was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. Şerif Bilgin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şerif Perver in the 96th minute of the match.
