In the 45th match minute, Black Stocking was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asrın Uçarer to maneuver through the defense. Güzelbahce SK's Ahmet Hafiz Okdağ got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Tan Veysi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Black Stocking's Cenan Uluberk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Balamir İltan in the 67th minute of play. Bilge Kağan Bedi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alper Kuter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. When Alp Tacir fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Güzelbahce SK's protests and gave Alp Tacir a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st minute, Alp Tacir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Güzelbahce SK had won after a very even match.
