Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Şükrü Çağaçar in the 3rd minute of play forced Kartalspor's goalkeeper Kahraman Mücahit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kahraman Mücahit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Volkan Yekta in the 5th minute of the match. When Eray Akgüneş fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kartalspor's protests and gave Eray Akgüneş a yellow card for diving instead. After 9 played minutes Kartalspor got a freekick which was hit by Erdeniz Refi. 10 minutes into the match, Kartalspor's goal looked a bit too open when Volkan Yekta came free, but Kahraman Mücahit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Kekova's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Ali Aktaç came free, but Behram Irgat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kahraman Mücahit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şükrü Çağaçar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Kekova's Volkan Yekta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kahraman Mücahit narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Şükrü Çağaçar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kahraman Mücahit. Kartalspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Şükrü Çağaçar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Behram Irgat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Seyfi Ragıp in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Kartalspor's goal looked a bit too open when Şükrü Çağaçar came free, but Kahraman Mücahit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahmet Seyfi Ragıp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 32 played minutes Kartalspor got a freekick which was hit by Erdeniz Refi. Volkan Yekta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kahraman Mücahit having to interfere. Hakkı Deniz Böke kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute of the match Saffet Ökkeş sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Behram Irgat skillfully saved the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Volkan Yekta to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Seyfi Ragıp in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Behram Irgat saved Kekova from getting behind. The supporters of Kartalspor booed when Kekova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Ali Erdesir didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th match minute, Kartalspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erdeniz Refi to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute, Kartalspor's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Volkan Yekta fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Erdeniz Refi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kahraman Mücahit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şükrü Çağaçar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Volkan Yekta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kahraman Mücahit read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Saffet Ökkeş was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kartalspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kekova the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Şükrü Çağaçar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kekova's supporters rose to their feet, but Şükrü Çağaçar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kahraman Mücahit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 95th minute, Volkan Yekta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kekova fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Kekova walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
