Balıkesir SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Diyadin the free kick. The supporters of Diyadin booed when Balıkesir SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ali Berkant Okcun to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Emre Saver in the 77th minute of play forced Balıkesir SK's goalkeeper Hadi Bengisoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mirza Turan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hadi Bengisoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustafa Emre Saver, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Balıkesir SK's Hadi Bengisoy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Balıkesir SK from getting a goal against them. The Balıkesir SK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Diyadin's performance. The match ended with a win for Diyadin.
