Halil Şencan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saadettin Eronat, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The supporters of Eski JK booed when Pingukalesi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atabek Daim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pingukalesi's Mustafa Emre Aktan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Barış Acaralp in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Pingukalesi's goal looked a bit too open when Hadi Birge came free, but Mustafa Emre Aktan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Necat Zeynelabidin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Halil Şencan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saadettin Eronat in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Halil Şencan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Mustafa Emre Aktan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Emrullah Yavuzhan kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Pingukalesi's Oğuzkan Erçelik tried to score from far away in the 44th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Saadettin Eronat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

After having played for 56 minutes, Mustafa Barış Acaralp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eski JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mustafa Barış Acaralp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Eski JK's Hadi Birge got a free kick in the 58th minute. Necat Zeynelabidin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Halil Şencan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Güney İrgun's late challenge caught a Pingukalesi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Güney İrgun helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Eski JK's Güney İrgun got a free kick in the 60th minute. When Necat Zeynelabidin came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Pingukalesi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Necat Zeynelabidin couldn't finish the play. Pingukalesi's Mustafa Emre Aktan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Barış Acaralp in the 65th minute of play. A hard shot 67 in the game by Necat Zeynelabidin from a close distance when the talented Halil Şencan managed to make a qualified save. Eski JK's players were relieved. After having played for 73 minutes, Saadettin Eronat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pingukalesi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saadettin Eronat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Pingukalesi's Rafettin Öner got a free kick in the 77th minute. If Necat Zeynelabidin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Necat Zeynelabidin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halil Şencan having to interfere. The Pingukalesi supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pingukalesi would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
