Erkan Veysi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th minute, Erkan Veysi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ekrem Safvet was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The audience was convinced that Semail Atacan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmet Vefik Vasfi was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Galip Özengin in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ekrem Safvet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 21stth minute of the game Galip Özengin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Erzin's Ekrem Safvet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ekrem Safvet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Galip Özengin in the 25th minute of play. Erkan Veysi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
