Mehmet Anıl Talayman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Umut Akay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Derinkuyu JK's Cengizhan Tümkan got control of the ball when İsmet Balabey tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cengizhan Tümkan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oktay Canpolat in the 20th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oktay Canpolat in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cengizhan Tümkan saved Derinkuyu JK from getting behind. Oktay Canpolat struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Cengizhan Tümkan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Erzincan. Mehmet Anıl Talayman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Umut Akay having to interfere. In the 41st match minute, Erzincan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oğuzer Özerdinc to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, Derinkuyu JK's Battal Gazi Çavas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Umut Akay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 48th minute, Derinkuyu JK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after İsmet Balabey fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Ahmet Hasan Okman hit a great ball. In the 55th minute of the match Halis Veysel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cengizhan Tümkan skillfully saved the ball. After 77 played minutes Derinkuyu JK got a freekick which was hit by Battal Gazi Çavas. In the 81st minute, Mehmet Anıl Talayman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 84th minute, Yaşar Sadri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Umut Akay acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 86th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Seyhan Rikap. A collision led to Erzincan getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Yaşar Sadri hit a great ball. After having played for 90 minutes, Battal Gazi Çavas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Derinkuyu JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Battal Gazi Çavas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Battal Gazi Çavas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Derinkuyu JK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Erzincan.
