The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of Catak:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Firat:s goal. In the 14th minute Mustafa Hamit Seccac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İbrahim Sargınal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15 minutes, Necip Ruhsan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Firat and the Catak players grew even worse after the yellow card. Necip Ruhsan hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Kutlay Dilercan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 71 minutes into the match, Catak's Mustafa Hamit Seccac sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that İbrahim Sargınal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Firat fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 75th minute. Penalty! In the 77th minute there was a penalty for Catak. Songurbey Nurkan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving İbrahim Sargınal. 3-2.
