Ali Faruk Uz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmet Seyfi Uzbay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Lopez de Toro in the 9th minute of play. Muzaffer Akağan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cihangir Bozyiğit having to interfere. After having played for 14 minutes, Anibal Lopez de Toro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AŞKIN SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anibal Lopez de Toro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the ŞeReFeSpor defense, Hakkı Deniz Sidal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ahmet Seyfi Uzbay. The ŞeReFeSpor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmet Seyfi Uzbay should have stopped the shot. If Kazım Rahmi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Anibal Lopez de Toro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hakkı Deniz Sidal came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the AŞKIN SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hakkı Deniz Sidal couldn't finish the play. 27 minutes into the game, Yiğit Suha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ŞeReFeSpor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AŞKIN SK the free kick. In the 27th minute, Yiğit Suha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute Ali Faruk Uz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cihangir Bozyiğit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hakkı Deniz Sidal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Ahmet Seyfi Uzbay made a huge save. In the 39th play minute Cyprian Podolski came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ahmet Seyfi Uzbay. 2-0. A collision led to ŞeReFeSpor getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Ersan Erokay hit a great ball. After 44 played minutes Ferdi Ersezen shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for ŞeReFeSpor's Ahmet Seyfi Uzbay to catch but Ferdi Ersezen was lucky. It became 3-0 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. ŞeReFeSpor's Ahmet Seyfi Uzbay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save ŞeReFeSpor from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ali Faruk Uz to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to AŞKIN SK getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Anibal Lopez de Toro hit a great ball. ŞeReFeSpor's Ali Faruk Uz got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ali Faruk Uz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Cihangir Bozyiğit when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serkan Tümen in the 63rd minute of play forced AŞKIN SK's goalkeeper Cihangir Bozyiğit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cihangir Bozyiğit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serkan Tümen in the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Hakkı Deniz Sidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the match, Cyprian Podolski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ahmet Seyfi Uzbay. ŞeReFeSpor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cyprian Podolski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Yiğit Suha was shown his second yellow card after 75 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 75th match minute, ŞeReFeSpor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yiğit Suha to maneuver through the defense. AŞKIN SK's Hakkı Deniz Sidal got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 78 minutes into the game, ŞeReFeSpor's Ali Faruk Uz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cihangir Bozyiğit made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 81st minute Cyprian Podolski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Seyfi Uzbay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ali Faruk Uz came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the ŞeReFeSpor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Faruk Uz couldn't finish the play. ŞeReFeSpor's Aybar Özok managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hakkı Deniz Sidal in the 88 minute of the game. Cyprian Podolski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmet Seyfi Uzbay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anibal Lopez de Toro's shot from short distance in the 98th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The AŞKIN SK fans cheered their team off the field, for while ŞeReFeSpor had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
