In the 20th minute, Kamil Yelmen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Daito-Katana's goalkeeper Aykutalp Yaşer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cyprian Podolski. Kamil Yelmen hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute, AŞKIN SK's Kazım Rahmi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aykutalp Yaşer. Aykutalp Yaşer yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Daito-Katana's goalkeeper Aykutalp Yaşer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Anibal Lopez de Toro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AŞKIN SK's Kazım Rahmi quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Atacan Giryar, made in the 32nd minute of the game. Aykutalp Yaşer made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Cyprian Podolski sent off a good shot on target. Daito-Katana's Erim Sefik got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hakkı Deniz Sidal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Aykutalp Yaşer made a huge save. Cihangir Bozyiğit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kamil Yelmen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anibal Lopez de Toro in the 39th minute of play forced Daito-Katana's goalkeeper Aykutalp Yaşer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Kazım Rahmi fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Aykutalp Yaşer, passed just outside the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cyprian Podolski got free with Aykutalp Yaşer in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th match minute, Daito-Katana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atacan Giryar to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Atacan Giryar charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Atacan Giryar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Daito-Katana getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Kazım Rahmi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute, Abdulbaki Çetinel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Erim Sefik took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Cihangir Bozyiğit to make any attempt to save it. 71 minutes into the game, Hakkı Deniz Sidal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AŞKIN SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Daito-Katana the free kick. After a rather tough play, AŞKIN SK's Hakkı Deniz Sidal got a free kick in the 71st minute. Aykutalp Yaşer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anibal Lopez de Toro, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. The supporters of Daito-Katana booed when AŞKIN SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cyprian Podolski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Kamil Yelmen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Daito-Katana's supporters rose to their feet, but Kamil Yelmen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cihangir Bozyiğit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kazım Rahmi during the 79th minute. After having played for 80 minutes, Erim Sefik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Daito-Katana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erim Sefik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. AŞKIN SK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Daito-Katana for a fine match.
