Moussa Léger's late challenge caught a Cerrahpasa JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Moussa Léger helped the player get up and apologised. Abayhan Umar let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 7th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. The supporters of Cerrahpasa JK booed when Trabzonspor FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Károly Sándor didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Abayhan Umar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trabzonspor FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abayhan Umar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Hakan Sezen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Ahmet Hakan Sezen managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Trabzonspor FC's Abayhan Umar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ahmet Hakan Sezen was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Károly Sándor. Ahmet Hakan Sezen was a little too slow when Abayhan Umar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 3-0. In the 25th match minute, Trabzonspor FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Valencia to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abayhan Umar got free with Ahmet Hakan Sezen in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 30 minutes, Abayhan Umar made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Cerrahpasa JK's Ahmet Hakan Sezen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ahmet Hakan Sezen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moussa Léger in the 33rd minute. After 34 minutes of play, Trabzonspor FC's Abayhan Umar made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 42nd minute Trabzonspor FC were awarded a corner. Göksun Tumbay went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Cerrahpasa JK's goalie and right to Moussa Léger. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Cerrahpasa JK's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. İrfan Özata took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Meriç Bergin. Trabzonspor FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abayhan Umar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hamza Okman during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
