With a little luck, Ömerli's Mümtazer Köken got control of the ball when Oktay Naim tried to sneak it across the goal line. 15 minutes in the game, Lemi Orgun fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Mümtazer Köken having to interfere. Mümtazer Köken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lemi Orgun, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. An unexpected shot in the 24th minute by Oktay Naim got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 25 minutes into the game, Eser Ülkümen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ömerli's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galatasaray SK the free kick. A collision led to Ömerli getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Eser Ülkümen hit a great ball. Mümtazer Köken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şahap Adaş, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After a rather tough play, Galatasaray SK's Lemi Orgun got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 34th match minute, Ömerli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yetkiner Ünan to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eser Ülkümen in the 40th minute of play forced Galatasaray SK's goalkeeper Abdülhak Cerit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Galatasaray SK's goal looked a bit too open when İskender Kuman came free, but Abdülhak Cerit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baturalp Tokcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mümtazer Köken having to interfere. Şahap Adaş recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 63 minutes, Baturalp Tokcan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abdülhak Cerit was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ömerli's Mümtazer Köken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şahap Adaş in the 78th minute of play. Mümtazer Köken didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Şahap Adaş went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Baturalp Tokcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Mümtazer Köken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ömerli's Mümtazer Köken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baturalp Tokcan in the 85th minute of play. Mümtazer Köken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oktay Naim in the 87th minute of play. If Baturalp Tokcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 89 played minutes Ömerli got a freekick which was hit by Eser Ülkümen. If Oktay Naim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Galatasaray SK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
