Ahmet Emir Başeğmez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ersin Ayaz in the 8th minute of the match. In the 24th minute Gürhan Semin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Emir Başeğmez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mete Sarik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Ali Başeğmez, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After 84 minutes of play, Baskale's Başar Özel made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ahmet Emir Başeğmez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Baskale's Mete Sarik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferman Yakup in the 89th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Talip Kahveci in the 90th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by GitGelGele's Ali Nejat Duman. In the 91st minute of the match Ali Nejat Duman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mete Sarik skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ersin Ayaz in the 93rd minute of play forced GitGelGele's goalkeeper Ahmet Emir Başeğmez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute Mehmet Ali Başeğmez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mete Sarik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atacan Salur kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The Baskale supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Baskale would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
