In the 3rd minute, Halil Utku Açıkgün left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RooT fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, Ahmet Arif Sadan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yılmaz Taşboğa. Fenerbahçe 58's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ahmet Arif Sadan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 12 minutes into the game, Esat Uma was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RooT's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fenerbahçe 58 the free kick. After a rather tough play, RooT's Esat Uma got a free kick in the 12th minute. 0-3 became the score in the 14th minute when Ahmet Arif Sadan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Yılmaz Taşboğa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Halil Utku Açıkgün in the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe 58's goal looked a bit too open when Halil Utku Açıkgün came free, but Yılmaz Taşboğa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yılmaz Taşboğa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Arif Sadan in the 24th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Fenerbahçe 58 defense, Lütfullah Mutluay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yılmaz Taşboğa. The Fenerbahçe 58 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yılmaz Taşboğa should have stopped the shot. In the 29th minute, Lütfullah Mutluay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yılmaz Taşboğa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Yılmaz Taşboğa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saip Özyay in the 32nd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe 58's goal looked a bit too open when Lütfullah Mutluay came free, but Yılmaz Taşboğa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saip Özyay scored 0-6 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yılmaz Taşboğa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Felipe Passos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basilio Salomone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 46 minutes of play, RooT's Lütfullah Mutluay made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yılmaz Taşboğa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Murathan Hirfet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as RooT's Lütfullah Mutluay slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Yılmaz Taşboğa. That made the score 0-8 after 53 minutes of play. Yılmaz Taşboğa made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Ahmet Arif Sadan sent off a good shot on target. 58 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe 58's goal looked a bit too open when Halil Utku Açıkgün came free, but Yılmaz Taşboğa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Halil Utku Açıkgün was extremely unlucky when he, in the 60th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 63 minutes of play, RooT's Ahmet Arif Sadan made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yılmaz Taşboğa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fenerbahçe 58's Yılmaz Taşboğa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Fenerbahçe 58 from getting a goal against them. Birsel Sazak lost his temper 69 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 68 minutes into the game, one of RooT:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Batu Tosunoğlu shot the penalty kick right outside the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basilio Salomone in the 76th minute of play forced RooT's goalkeeper Felipe Passos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Passos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Birsel Nasrullah, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Birsel Nasrullah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute Murathan Hirfet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Passos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yılmaz Taşboğa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Arif Sadan in the 87th minute of the match. Fenerbahçe 58's Yılmaz Taşboğa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Fenerbahçe 58 from getting a goal against them. Birsel Nasrullah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Fenerbahçe 58's Basilio Salomone got a free kick in the 96th minute. 97 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe 58's goal looked a bit too open when Halil Utku Açıkgün came free, but Yılmaz Taşboğa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. RooT's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
