When Mehmet Ali Başeğmez came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the GitGelGele fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mehmet Ali Başeğmez couldn't finish the play. 29 minutes into the game, Arcan Kutsel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ahmet Emir Başeğmez. Arcan Kutsel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. David Billock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferman Yakup in the 35th minute of play. Juan Miguel Cunningham got a throw-in 42 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Özcan Deveci. Ahmet Emir Başeğmez was a little too slow when Mutlu Sanak got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mehmet Ali Başeğmez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Pendik FK's David Billock got control of the ball when Ferman Yakup tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as GitGelGele's Ferman Yakup slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of David Billock. That made the score 3-1 after 69 minutes of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Güney Dağdelen during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. David Billock had in the 78thth minute some difficulties stopping Çağdaş Kamber's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Kılıçhan Özbek kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Ferman Yakup left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GitGelGele fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Pendik FK's David Billock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferman Yakup in the 91st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in GitGelGele's zone, Özcan Deveci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Emir Başeğmez came out of the goal and Özcan Deveci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. GitGelGele's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
