GitGelGele's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Basilio Salomone scored to the left of an out of position Ahmet Emir Başeğmez, making the score, 1-0. With a little luck, GitGelGele's Ahmet Emir Başeğmez got control of the ball when Murathan Hirfet tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yılmaz Taşboğa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Ali Başeğmez in the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Mehmet Ali Başeğmez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yılmaz Taşboğa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Ferman Yakup sped through Fenerbahçe 58's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Yılmaz Taşboğa. Murathan Hirfet might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ahmet Emir Başeğmez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Murathan Hirfet ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Murathan Hirfet got free with Ahmet Emir Başeğmez in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute, Mehmet Ali Başeğmez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GitGelGele fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. If Murathan Hirfet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute Basilio Salomone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Emir Başeğmez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Birsel Nasrullah dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ahmet Emir Başeğmez, 2-2. Birsel Nasrullah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Emir Başeğmez having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mehmet Ali Başeğmez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fenerbahçe 58's Yılmaz Taşboğa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Ali Başeğmez in the 61st minute of play. Ahmet Emir Başeğmez came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Fenerbahçe 58's Murathan Hirfet. But to his dismay, Murathan Hirfet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Mehmet Ali Başeğmez took a quick shot and it went in 3-3 without a chance for Yılmaz Taşboğa to make any attempt to save it. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Furkan Kılıçalp took a quick shot and it went in 3-4 without a chance for Yılmaz Taşboğa to make any attempt to save it. Ahmet Emir Başeğmez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murathan Hirfet in the 79th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Murathan Hirfet notched a goal, 4-4, to the right of GitGelGele's Ahmet Emir Başeğmez. Ahmet Emir Başeğmez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ferman Yakup kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, GitGelGele's Ferman Yakup got a free kick in the 86th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ferman Yakup during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 88th minute, Ferman Yakup hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ahmet Emir Başeğmez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basilio Salomone in the 90th minute of the match. Ferman Yakup could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Yılmaz Taşboğa made a huge save. Yılmaz Taşboğa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Furkan Kılıçalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
