In the 6th match minute, RooT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esat Uma to maneuver through the defense. Mete Sarik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saip Özyay in the 9th minute. Ahmet Arif Sadan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Mete Sarik made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Baskale's zone, Ahmet Arif Sadan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mete Sarik came out of the goal and Ahmet Arif Sadan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 17 minutes into the game, Arcan Bakır was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RooT's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Baskale the free kick. The supporters of Baskale booed when RooT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arcan Bakır didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felipe Passos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ersin Ayaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 minutes, Ahmet Arif Sadan made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Baskale's Mete Sarik tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 43 played minutes RooT got a freekick which was hit by Arcan Bakır. In the 43rd minute, Kılıçhan Tublek sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and RooT's Felipe Passos didn't even have to move. Esat Uma hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Felipe Passos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gürhan Semin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Halil Utku Açıkgün to strike the kick off in the second half. Halil Utku Açıkgün struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Mete Sarik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RooT. 59 minutes into the match, Baskale's goal looked a bit too open when Halil Utku Açıkgün came free, but Mete Sarik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felipe Passos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gürhan Semin in the 60th minute. The audience was convinced that Halil Utku Açıkgün's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mete Sarik was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Saip Özyay was slow to take the kick. During this time RooT's players had a chance to rest. The corner led RooT's Saip Özyay to fire away a dangerous shot which Mete Sarik despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gürhan Semin during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 81st minute, Gürhan Semin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85thth minute of the game Halil Utku Açıkgün who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Baskale's Mete Sarik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Saip Özyay charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saip Özyay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Saip Özyay hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Gürhan Semin hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Mete Sarik didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ahmet Arif Sadan went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. When the referee ended the match the RooT players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
