The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Birsel Sazak during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 15 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for RooT! If Dorukhan Ünalan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, RooT's goal looked a bit too open when Uğuralp Ongun came free, but Felipe Passos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felipe Passos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uğuralp Ongun in the 24th minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Melih Cevdet Rıza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ARİFOĞLU FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RooT the free kick. A collision led to ARİFOĞLU FK getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Melih Cevdet Rıza hit a great ball. The supporters of ARİFOĞLU FK booed when RooT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Süreyya Yiğit didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the match, ARİFOĞLU FK's Abay Tülek broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A collision led to ARİFOĞLU FK getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Melih Cevdet Rıza hit a great ball. Felipe Passos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uğuralp Ongun, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute ARİFOĞLU FK were awarded a corner. Abay Tülek went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Abay Tülek got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Felipe Passos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ahmet Arif Sadan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yusuf Bahadır Uygar having to interfere. If Halil Utku Açıkgün had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Halil Utku Açıkgün was the one to do the kick off. Lütfullah Mutluay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Yusuf Bahadır Uygar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Ahmet Arif Sadan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Esat Uma fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RooT's protests and gave Esat Uma a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, RooT's Esat Uma got a free kick in the 62nd minute. The long shot by Cihat Satı in the 63rd minute really tested Felipe Passos's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 69th minute, Ahmet Arif Sadan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yusuf Bahadır Uygar was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 73rdth minute of the game Ahmet Arif Sadan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ARİFOĞLU FK's Yusuf Bahadır Uygar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yusuf Bahadır Uygar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Halil Utku Açıkgün, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Cihat Satı charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cihat Satı the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 82 played minutes ARİFOĞLU FK got a freekick which was hit by Cihat Satı. In the 83rd minute of the match Saip Özyay sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yusuf Bahadır Uygar skillfully saved the ball. Halil Utku Açıkgün recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yusuf Bahadır Uygar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Arif Sadan's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Halil Utku Açıkgün took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yusuf Bahadır Uygar. Yusuf Bahadır Uygar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. The audience was convinced that Halil Utku Açıkgün's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yusuf Bahadır Uygar was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Yusuf Bahadır Uygar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Halil Utku Açıkgün's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. RooT walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
