The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Silifke's Hamdullah Tapgaç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Fatih Cumhur in the 5th minute of play. Temel Özsan hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Hakkı Onur Başeskioğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Poyraz Işınay, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Hakkı Onur Başeskioğlu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Poyraz Işınay's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Battal Cüneyt Garipbaş could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Hamdullah Tapgaç made a huge save. 22 minutes into the match, Inebolu's goal looked a bit too open when Hakan Böke came free, but Hakkı Onur Başeskioğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silifke's Hamdullah Tapgaç proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Silifke from getting a goal against them. Hamdullah Tapgaç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hakkı Onur Cebeci in the 25th minute of the match. Mehmet Fatih Cumhur struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Hamdullah Tapgaç didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inebolu. After 30 minutes, Muhittin Vahapoğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inebolu and the Silifke players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 30 played minutes Inebolu got a freekick which was hit by Muhittin Vahapoğlu. Silifke's Hamdullah Tapgaç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Nabi Torcan in the 36th minute of play. Hakkı Onur Başeskioğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Poyraz Işınay in the 41st minute of the match. Inebolu's Hakkı Onur Başeskioğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tayyar Gazir in the 42nd minute of play. Hakkı Onur Başeskioğlu came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Silifke's Poyraz Işınay. But to his dismay, Poyraz Işınay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ali Nabi Torcan was the one to do the kick off. Hakkı Onur Başeskioğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aybar Olcaytug in the 51st minute of play. Inebolu's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Hakan Böke scored to the left of an out of position Hakkı Onur Başeskioğlu, making the score, 0-3. Hakkı Onur Başeskioğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tayyar Gazir in the 55th minute of the match. Inebolu's Battal Cüneyt Garipbaş got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sebati Zeynur charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebati Zeynur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Silifke's Hamdullah Tapgaç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Temel Özsan in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hakkı Onur Cebeci in the 62nd minute of play forced Silifke's goalkeeper Hamdullah Tapgaç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Hakkı Onur Cebeci had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hamdullah Tapgaç. Silifke's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hakkı Onur Cebeci was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 65th minute, Hakkı Onur Cebeci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Inebolu's Hakkı Onur Başeskioğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Inebolu from getting a goal against them. If Battal Cüneyt Garipbaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 minutes of play, Silifke's Tayyar Gazir made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hakkı Onur Başeskioğlu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bora Han Kargin lost his temper 77 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, Silifke's Bora Han Kargin got a free kick in the 78th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Poyraz Işınay recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hakkı Onur Başeskioğlu. Poyraz Işınay showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. A collision led to Silifke getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Poyraz Işınay hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Nabi Torcan in the 96th minute of play forced Silifke's goalkeeper Hamdullah Tapgaç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
