In the 12th minute Gafur Saip shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilgaz Akarsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Sabri Tuncaral fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Semdinli's protests and gave Sabri Tuncaral a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes Semdinli got a freekick which was hit by Sabri Tuncaral. Ilgaz Akarsu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ekber Yetkin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ilgaz Akarsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ekber Yetkin in the 28th minute of play. If Gafur Saip had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ilgaz Akarsu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ekber Yetkin's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. After 39 played minutes Semdinli got a freekick which was hit by Feyyaz Kurhan. Ula's Alparslan Koçubey couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 40th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Semdinli. After 41 played minutes Semdinli got a freekick which was hit by Sabri Tuncaral. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

If Ekber Yetkin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute Ekber Yetkin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilgaz Akarsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ilgaz Akarsu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gafur Saip in the 60th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Semdinli's goalkeeper Ilgaz Akarsu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Songurhan Algın kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Ekber Yetkin took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ilgaz Akarsu. Ilgaz Akarsu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Gafur Saip fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilgaz Akarsu having to interfere. Ilgaz Akarsu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ekber Yetkin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Semdinli's zone, Gafur Saip stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilgaz Akarsu came out of the goal and Gafur Saip tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ula's Ekber Yetkin got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ekber Yetkin came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Ula fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ekber Yetkin couldn't finish the play. Songurhan Algın hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Gafur Saip recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Songurhan Algın hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ula had played much better football throughout.
