Turhal SK's İlhami Özbil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Turhal SK from getting a goal against them. Turhal SK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Gafur Saip scored to the left of an out of position İlhami Özbil, making the score, 1-0. Turhal SK's Boran Aktay got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 9 minutes into the game, Vatan Savtekin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ula's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Turhal SK the free kick. Vatan Savtekin kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boran Aktay in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aytuğ Özben saved Ula from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boran Aktay in the 11th minute of play forced Ula's goalkeeper Aytuğ Özben to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gafur Saips short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got İlhami Özbil to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gökcan Orsel hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, Turhal SK's goal looked a bit too open when Ekber Yetkin came free, but İlhami Özbil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Ekber Yetkin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aytuğ Özben didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Semi Denizalp went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When Semi Denizalp came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Turhal SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Semi Denizalp couldn't finish the play. After 35 minutes of play, Ula's Ekber Yetkin made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. İlhami Özbil was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 38th minute, Gökcan Orsel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 41 played minutes, Ula's Alparslan Koçubey shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper İlhami Özbil came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ula reached it. After 42 played minutes Turhal SK got a freekick which was hit by Nebi Elçi. 44 minutes into the match, Turhal SK's goalkeeper İlhami Özbil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gafur Saip. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Boran Aktay to strike the kick off in the second half. Ekber Yetkin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes in the game, Semi Denizalp fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Aytuğ Özben having to interfere. Semi Denizalp struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Aytuğ Özben didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Turhal SK. Turhal SK's Boran Aktay got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Boran Aktay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ekber Yetkin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boran Aktay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aytuğ Özben having to make a save. Ekber Yetkin struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. İlhami Özbil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ula. Ekber Yetkin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İlhami Özbil having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Uğuralp Atasoy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aytuğ Özben made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Semi Denizalp in the 89th minute of play. Gafur Saip sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, Turhal SK's goal looked a bit too open when Gafur Saip came free, but İlhami Özbil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 94 minutes, Ahmet Asım Tanfer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Turhal SK and the Ula players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th match minute, Turhal SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Asım Tanfer to maneuver through the defense. Ula's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
