Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Onurhan Akgüns short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Hazım Akşit to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Onurhan Akgün had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 22nd match minute, GALATASARAY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mirza Acem to maneuver through the defense. Bektaş Özan's late challenge caught a Sivas FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bektaş Özan helped the player get up and apologised. Bektaş Özan hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Çağrı Tuncer, 28 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Şevket Balaman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bektaş Veli Ufki, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Şevket Balaman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamdi Balcı in the 45th minute of the match. Şevket Balaman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bektaş Veli Ufki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Sivas FK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karhan İlbilge made a kick off. Şevket Balaman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karhan İlbilge, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. With a little luck, GALATASARAY's Şevket Balaman got control of the ball when Çağrı Tuncer tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 56th minute, Hamdi Balcı left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sivas FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Onurhan Akgün struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. In the 91st minute, Onurhan Akgün got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hazım Akşit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Onurhan Akgün, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Mirza Acem blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hazım Akşit having to make a save.
