The audience thought a goal was coming when İsrafil Temizöz got free with Abdurrahman Yetişen in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Maltepe FK getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Alpertunga Bedel hit a great ball. When Doğuhan Bostancı fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skalastik FC's protests and gave Doğuhan Bostancı a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th minute, Doğuhan Bostancı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute, Arif Memduh Bahadır ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Süreyya İltemur was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 19th minute, Ahmet Necdet Sungurtekin made a precise shot to the right of Süreyya İltemur. Skalastik FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Maltepe FK's zone, İsrafil Temizöz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdurrahman Yetişen came out of the goal and İsrafil Temizöz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Hakkı Onur Kırca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skalastik FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hakkı Onur Kırca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdurrahman Yetişen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arif Memduh Bahadır in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Süreyya İltemur saved Skalastik FC from getting behind. İsrafil Temizöz in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Abdurrahman Yetişen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arif Memduh Bahadır got free with Süreyya İltemur in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Ahmet Necdet Sungurtekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Maltepe FK booed when Skalastik FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tolga Siddik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abdullah Karluk took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Süreyya İltemur.
