After 12 played minutes Skalastik FC got a freekick which was hit by Onur Ali Tanak. Skalastik FC's Hakkı Onur Kırca was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 19th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. GALATASARAY's Şevket Balaman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save GALATASARAY from getting a goal against them. Süreyya İltemur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Onur Ali Karluk in the 25th minute of the match. During the 25th minute of the match Onur Ali Tanak completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Onur Ali Tanak a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Skalastik FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Onur Ali Tanak hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Onurhan Akgün in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Süreyya İltemur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Skalastik FC's İsrafil Temizöz got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Skalastik FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Sabahattin Revha hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY's goal looked a bit too open when Görkem Balkanlıoğlu came free, but Şevket Balaman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. İsrafil Temizöz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Şevket Balaman made a huge save. Skalastik FC's Süreyya İltemur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Onur Ali Karluk in the 45th minute of play. If Onurhan Akgün had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Onurhan Akgün to make the kick off. The supporters of GALATASARAY booed when Skalastik FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabahattin Revha didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the game, Ruhi Bakırcıoğlu threw the ball into play from the sideline.
