But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mustafa Kemal İçkin couldn't finish the play. Lefter Erdönmez struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Kazım Engiay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Heybeliada. Kazım Engiay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mutlu Garipbaş in the 32nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mustafa Kemal İçkin in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Şanver Sarıcabay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
