Yaşar Arıkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Varol Mehdi having to interfere. A hard shot 22 in the game by Bülent Zati from a close distance when the talented Varol Mehdi managed to make a qualified save. Nakree United FC's players were relieved. In the 33rd minute Cristiano Ronald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Halis Çağar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bülent Zati in the 36th minute of play forced Nakree United FC's goalkeeper Varol Mehdi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Bülent Zati could shoot a difficult shot in the 37th minute, which Varol Mehdi however easily saved by the left post. Cᴀɴᴇʏ ᶠᶜ's Mehmet Halis Çağar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Ronald in the 43rd minute of play. In the 46th minute, Berat Boratay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
