In the 10th minute Mehmet Akif Semih shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elliot McCloud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Dráuzio Proença hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the match, FIRTINA TOKAT SPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Abdi Mustafa came free, but Elliot McCloud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Resul Tonguç received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. In the 20th minute, FIRTINA TOKAT SPOR's Ilgaz Terzi seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ilgaz Terzi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FIRTINA TOKAT SPOR protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ilgaz Terzi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 19 minutes into the game, one of FIRTINA TOKAT SPOR:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 22 minutes, Pehlivanköy's Yavuzalp Ömürcan got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Elliot McCloud. Sarabjit Saffores fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Taner Hisarcık having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Sarabjit Saffores got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elliot McCloud was a little too slow when Resul Tonguç got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 3-0. Elliot McCloud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdi Mustafa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mehmet Akif Semih struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Elliot McCloud didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pehlivanköy. With his leg Elliot McCloud managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Pehlivanköy's Abdi Mustafa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 41st minute, Basri Baydan made a precise shot to the right of Taner Hisarcık. Pehlivanköy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 46 minutes into the match, FIRTINA TOKAT SPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Abdi Mustafa came free, but Elliot McCloud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abdi Mustafa was the one to do the kick off. Mehmet Oğuz Atlıoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. When Abdi Mustafa came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Pehlivanköy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdi Mustafa couldn't finish the play. 56 minutes into the match, Mehmet Akif Semih notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of FIRTINA TOKAT SPOR's Elliot McCloud. Elliot McCloud was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mehmet Akif Semih fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elliot McCloud having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Sarabjit Saffores hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elliot McCloud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdi Mustafa, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. FIRTINA TOKAT SPOR's Elliot McCloud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Akif Semih in the 73rd minute of play. A well-hit corner resulted in Ahmet Reha Varan heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 78thth minute of the game Abdi Mustafa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FIRTINA TOKAT SPOR's Elliot McCloud was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Elliot McCloud showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Resul Tonguç in the 80th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mehmet Oğuz Atlıoğlu during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Pehlivanköy booed when FIRTINA TOKAT SPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Oğuz Atlıoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abdi Mustafa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mehmet Akif Semih had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 93 minutes, Mehmet Akif Semih managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pehlivanköy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mehmet Akif Semih was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FIRTINA TOKAT SPOR's zone, Abdi Mustafa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elliot McCloud came out of the goal and Abdi Mustafa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
