In the 35th minute Baykal İnanç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Emre Ağçelik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Kozakli's goal looked a bit too open when Lütfullah Safer came free, but Mehmet Emre Ağçelik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hasret Yılmaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gencalp Özbir having to interfere. After the first half Finike were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Mehmet Bilge Tuncel made the kick off in the second half. Batu Ozansu charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Batu Ozansu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Finike's Batu Ozansu got a free kick in the 51st minute. Baykal İnanç was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 78th minute. Finike's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Lütfullah Safer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
