Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ali Behzat Refah took the kick off in the first half of the match. Muzaffer Asalet charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Muzaffer Asalet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 3rd minute, one of Hüyük:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hüyük. In the 5th minute there was a penalty for Soma. Karadeniz Arıcan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Artaç Mazhar. 0-1. Hüyük's Artaç Mazhar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Behzat Refah in the 8th minute of play. If Akgün Lut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 11 played minutes Soma got a freekick which was hit by Hüseyin User. After 13 minutes of play, Hüyük's Gazanfer Pozan made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mümin Oba was left in no man's land by his defense there! Artaç Mazhar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Behzat Refah in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, Hüyük was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Necdet Hirfet to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute, Ali Behzat Refah ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artaç Mazhar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After 30 played minutes Soma got a freekick which was hit by Muzaffer Okcun. Gazanfer Pozan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mümin Oba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Akgün Lut, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Artaç Mazhar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Serkan Tokcan's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute Akgün Lut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mümin Oba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Akgün Lut stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the game, Soma's Serkan Tokcan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Artaç Mazhar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Mümin Oba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Akgün Lut, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Akgün Lut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Mümin Oba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Hüyük's zone, Ergin Mengüalp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artaç Mazhar came out of the goal and Ergin Mengüalp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Serkan Tokcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd play minute Serkan Tokcan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Artaç Mazhar. 1-4. In the 80th minute, Serkan Tokcan made a precise shot to the right of Artaç Mazhar. Hüyük's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. Mümin Oba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nusret Ehlimen in the 87th minute of play. The Soma players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
