Spectators: 6718 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mehmet Bilge Neba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 19 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY's goal looked a bit too open when Zekeriya Bilginer came free, but Enginsu Temizkan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of melikşah booed when GALATASARAY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samim Eğilmez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mehmet Bilge Neba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rahman Eriş in the 33rd minute of play. Orkun Dilan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mehmet Bilge Neba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rahman Eriş in the 38th minute of the match. Rahman Eriş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Mehmet Bilge Neba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Samim Eğilmez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mehmet Bilge Neba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orkun Dilan in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th minute, melikşah's Kutlay Kutal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Mehmet Bilge Neba acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 62nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Nuralp Rical. In the 74th minute Zaid Yurdaer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Bilge Neba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mehmet Bilge Neba came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by GALATASARAY's Necdet Onat. But to his dismay, Necdet Onat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in melikşah's zone, Necdet Onat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mehmet Bilge Neba came out of the goal and Necdet Onat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When GALATASARAY's Rahman Eriş in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye melikşah's goalie prevented a goal. Ali Kaan Koçarslanoğlu's late challenge caught a GALATASARAY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ali Kaan Koçarslanoğlu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th minute, Ali Kaan Koçarslanoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, melikşah's Mehmet Bilge Neba got control of the ball when Orkun Dilan tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Rahman Eriş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zaid Yurdaer struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Mehmet Bilge Neba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GALATASARAY. Necdet Onat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Mehmet Bilge Neba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, melikşah's goal looked a bit too open when Rahman Eriş came free, but Mehmet Bilge Neba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rahman Eriş's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 97thth minute, Mehmet Bilge Neba skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, melikşah's Emrah Cesur got a free kick in the 98th minute. When the match was over GALATASARAY could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than melikşah throughout the match.
