Mesut FC's Abel Jusepe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilla Tarkan Okatay in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th match minute, Mesut FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Fair to maneuver through the defense. Abdi Saygın Özerek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kerim İlkim went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 36thth minute of the game Kerim İlkim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bornova's Abdi Saygın Özerek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Atilla Tarkan Okatay to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Mesut FC's Kerim İlkim slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abdi Saygın Özerek. That made the score 0-8 after 70 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kerim İlkim got free with Abdi Saygın Özerek in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bornova's Abdi Saygın Özerek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyryl Faron in the 76th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Mesut FC's Yıldıray Erçivan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Abdi Saygın Özerek. Yıldıray Erçivan took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abdi Saygın Özerek. Abdi Saygın Özerek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mesut FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
