In the 35th minute, Judas Juan Sebastian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cihan Okanay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arın Yaslı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilvan Marinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Azim Apaydın charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Azim Apaydın the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Baqsirlar getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Azim Apaydın hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arın Yaslı made a kick off. Gilvan Marinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Erdinç Engiay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Arın Yaslı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cihan Okanay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erhun Gençoğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erdinç Engiay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play.
