Cihan Okanay made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Yıldıray Erçivan sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kerim İlkim in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cihan Okanay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 13 minutes into the match, Mesut FC's goal looked a bit too open when Judas Juan Sebastian came free, but Abel Jusepe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilvan Marinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baba Popescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cihan Okanay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Mesut FC's Kerim İlkim nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cihan Okanay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kerim İlkim in the 29th minute of play forced Esenler's goalkeeper Cihan Okanay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Kerim İlkim notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Esenler's Cihan Okanay. Cihan Okanay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yağız Nadir to make the kick off. Esenler's attentive Sten Uggstedt managed to snatch the ball when Egemen Süreyya made a throw-in in the 51st minute of the game. Egemen Süreyya's late challenge caught a Esenler's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Egemen Süreyya helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd minute, Egemen Süreyya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Judas Juan Sebastian hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the match, Esenler's goal looked a bit too open when Baba Popescu came free, but Cihan Okanay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 70 minutes into the game, when Baykam Akboğa put in a rough tackle. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Esenler! The supporters of Mesut FC booed when Esenler was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arda Semim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cihan Okanay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yıldıray Erçivan went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Cihan Okanay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baba Popescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Kerim İlkim scored 6-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cihan Okanay, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cihan Okanay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baba Popescu in the 93rd minute of play. Mesut FC's Kerim İlkim got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Esenler's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
