Esenler's Cihan Okanay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Esenler from getting a goal against them. 80 minutes into the match, OcaklarSpor's goal looked a bit too open when Gilvan Marinho came free, but Michal Czech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Esenler were the better team. Esenler's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
