The supporters of Mesut FC booed when Aksarayspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berker Rıza Boyraz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kerim İlkim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Aksarayspor's goalkeeper Oktay Hatemoğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baba Popescu. Mesut FC were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Aksarayspor's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Egemen Süreyya took the corner. Egemen Süreyya made a great header on Mesut FC's corner, it was just that Aksarayspor's Oktay Hatemoğlu managed to reach the ball for a save. Mesut FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kerim İlkim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oktay Hatemoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Kerim İlkim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mesut FC's Cyryl Faron got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kerim İlkim struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Oktay Hatemoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mesut FC. The crowd rose to their feet as Kerim İlkim kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Oktay Hatemoğlu. That made the score 2-0 in the 40 minute of play. In the 43rd minute Baba Popescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oktay Hatemoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Türker Ulukan was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baba Popescu in the 51st minute of play forced Aksarayspor's goalkeeper Oktay Hatemoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Aksarayspor's zone, Baba Popescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kerim İlkim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oktay Hatemoğlu having to interfere. If Kerim İlkim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 64 minutes into the match, Kerim İlkim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oktay Hatemoğlu. Aksarayspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kerim İlkim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 67th minute, Türker Ulukan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Cyryl Faron's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oktay Hatemoğlu was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. 70 minutes into the match, Aksarayspor's goal looked a bit too open when Baba Popescu came free, but Oktay Hatemoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Berker Rıza Boyraz's late challenge caught a Mesut FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After some careless play in the Aksarayspor defense, Baba Popescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oktay Hatemoğlu. The Aksarayspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oktay Hatemoğlu should have stopped the shot. After 78 minutes of play, Mesut FC's Baba Popescu made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oktay Hatemoğlu was left in no man's land by his defense there! 82 minutes into the match, Baba Popescu notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Aksarayspor's Oktay Hatemoğlu. Oktay Hatemoğlu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Oktay Hatemoğlu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cyryl Faron went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Cyryl Faron struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Oktay Hatemoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mesut FC. Mehmet Bilge Tarkan hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. 96 minutes into the game, Kerim İlkim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Oktay Hatemoğlu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
