Abdi Saygın Özerek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Azim Apaydın sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdi Saygın Özerek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arın Yaslı's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. In the 14th minute Atilla Tarkan Okatay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erdinç Engiay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th match minute, Bornova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Onisim Olabe to maneuver through the defense. Ersan Yalaz struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Abdi Saygın Özerek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baqsirlar. Arın Yaslı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bornova's Abdi Saygın Özerek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Bornova from getting a goal against them. Arın Yaslı took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abdi Saygın Özerek. Abdi Saygın Özerek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Abdi Saygın Özerek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arın Yaslı in the 25th minute of the match. Arın Yaslı who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Abdi Saygın Özerek when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Azim Apaydın recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abdi Saygın Özerek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arın Yaslı in the 40th minute of play. The Baqsirlar fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Baqsirlar's Arın Yaslı looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Abdi Saygın Özerek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arın Yaslı in the 47th minute.

Arın Yaslı scored 3-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abdi Saygın Özerek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Arın Yaslı put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Abdi Saygın Özerek. Arın Yaslı's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abdi Saygın Özerek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. A collision led to Bornova getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Onisim Olabe hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Arın Yaslı's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abdi Saygın Özerek was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. In the 64th match minute, Bornova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nebi İzgü to maneuver through the defense. Baqsirlar's supporters rose to their feet, but Azim Apaydın was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdi Saygın Özerek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Arın Yaslı's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abdi Saygın Özerek was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. In the 76th minute, one of Bornova:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bornova. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Arın Yaslı sped through Bornova's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Abdi Saygın Özerek. When Innokentiy Dudarev fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bornova's protests and gave Innokentiy Dudarev a yellow card for diving instead. In the 85th minute, Innokentiy Dudarev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arın Yaslı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Abdi Saygın Özerek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arın Yaslı in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abdi Saygın Özerek saved Bornova from getting behind. There was no doubt that Baqsirlar were the better team. Baqsirlar's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
