Hasan Ali Erdurmus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 23 minutes into the match, Iskitler SK's goalkeeper Gencalp Korucu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paşa Mutlugün. 24 minutes into the match, Kastamonuspor's goal looked a bit too open when Atabek Mürsel came free, but Seyrani Savtuna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Iskitler SK's goalkeeper Gencalp Korucu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Ceyhan Temizsoy. Iskitler SK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Baskın Kalender 33 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Gencalp Korucu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baskın Kalender, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Paşa Mutlugün came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gencalp Korucu could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baskın Kalender in the 45th minute of play forced Iskitler SK's goalkeeper Gencalp Korucu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The supporters of Kastamonuspor booed when Iskitler SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Faruk Akdal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dinç Riva took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gencalp Korucu. Iskitler SK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gencalp Korucu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baskın Kalender in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Iskitler SK's Orhan Aktan got a free kick in the 60th minute. Zafer Sebih fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seyrani Savtuna having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Zafer Sebih got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Ahmet Ceyhan Temizsoy fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kastamonuspor's protests and gave Ahmet Ceyhan Temizsoy a yellow card for diving instead. After 70 played minutes Kastamonuspor got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Ceyhan Temizsoy. In the 74th match minute, Kastamonuspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karadeniz Sarpkan to maneuver through the defense. Seyrani Savtuna came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Iskitler SK's Zafer Sebih. But to his dismay, Zafer Sebih quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Hasan Ali Erdurmus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Seyrani Savtuna having to make a save. 83 minutes into the game, Zafer Sebih was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Iskitler SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kastamonuspor the free kick. After 83 played minutes Iskitler SK got a freekick which was hit by Zafer Sebih. Orhan Aktan hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Gencalp Korucu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karadeniz Sarpkan in the 89th minute of play. Gencalp Korucu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paşa Mutlugün in the 94th minute of the match. If Hasan Ali Erdurmus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
