Emiliano Martínez came out and tried to block the shot, but Saffet Önen slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 14th minute. 20 minutes into the match, ZEZEYTUN's goal looked a bit too open when Fedai Durcan came free, but Conrado Norino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Behçet Kuluk's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Emiliano Martínez firmly grabbed it by the left post. Kamber Yağızer's late challenge caught a ZEZEYTUN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kamber Yağızer helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Kurtalan's Kamber Yağızer got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Fedai Durcan struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Conrado Norino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kurtalan. The audience was convinced that Mesut Dersu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emiliano Martínez was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. After 29 played minutes Kurtalan got a freekick which was hit by Naim Akpınar. Conrado Norino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fedai Durcan went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Kamber Yağızer hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Kurtalan's Emiliano Martínez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mesut Dersu in the 39th minute of play. If Fedai Durcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Naim Akpınar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Norino having to interfere. Conrado Norino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fedai Durcan in the 45th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fedai Durcan made a kick off. Conrado Norino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yunus Sehriyar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mesut Dersu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Emiliano Martínez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute Atilla Harzemşah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Martínez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Conrado Norino was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Yunus Sehriyar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Yunus Sehriyar really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Conrado Norino made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Fedai Durcan sent off a good shot on target. Sadri Özkent kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. When Fedai Durcan came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Kurtalan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fedai Durcan couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kamber Yağızer in the 88th minute of play forced ZEZEYTUN's goalkeeper Conrado Norino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
