Mümtaz İzgi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Zenci İdman Kulübü's Achille Ruscitti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bünyamin Pekin in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of Ikitelli booed when Zenci İdman Kulübü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adnan Bera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Achille Ruscitti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özal Şahinalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özal Şahinalp in the 14th minute of play forced Zenci İdman Kulübü's goalkeeper Achille Ruscitti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Vacid Karginalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ercüment Akartuna who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Ediz Altıncığlu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ercüment Akartuna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 42 minutes, Aytekin Altunhan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zenci İdman Kulübü's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aytekin Altunhan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ercüment Akartuna to strike the kick off in the second half. Achille Ruscitti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ediz Altıncığlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aytekin Altunhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Nadir Ensar hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Cornel Cismarescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ediz Altıncığlu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Ercüment Akartuna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ediz Altıncığlu having to make a save. With 93 minutes on the clock, Ferhan Demiroğlu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Zenci İdman Kulübü! When the match had been going on for 95 minutes, Ikitelli's Nadir Ensar got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Achille Ruscitti.
