Cavdir's Ali Nejat Yaşanur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Halil Can Yetişbey in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cavdir's Ahmet Boran Zülfü got a free kick in the 19th minute. Ali Nejat Yaşanur was left in no man's land by his defense there! 37 minutes into the match, Üzeyir Cebir dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Quillian Sterckx, 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ege Uygur made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Kubilay Mengüer made a precise shot to the right of Ali Nejat Yaşanur. Cavdir's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. A collision led to Cavdir getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Güneri Uyarel hit a great ball. In the 58th match minute, Cavdir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boğaçhan Irgat to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, Kubilay Mengüer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ali Nejat Yaşanur was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Bahtiyar Sabih kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Ataköy SK's goal looked a bit too open when Göktan Durukan came free, but Quillian Sterckx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 84 minutes, Bahtiyar Sabih mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cavdir and the Ataköy SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Göktan Durukan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ataköy SK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
