After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Kayhan Ruhi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ulus S's supporters rose to their feet, but Kayhan Ruhi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kamil Grabara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd match minute, Ulus S was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Selim Mukerrem to maneuver through the defense. Selim Mukerrem blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kamil Grabara having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steven Andres in the 29th minute of play forced Ulus S's goalkeeper Mecnun Hezarfen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Steven Andres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mecnun Hezarfen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Steven Andres sped through Ulus S's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mecnun Hezarfen. Steven Andres kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kayhan Ruhi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Yaman Spor booed when Ulus S was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Talat Gulabi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mecnun Hezarfen made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Steven Andres sent off a good shot on target. Kamil Grabara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Selim Mukerrem's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. When Talat Gulabi fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ulus S's protests and gave Talat Gulabi a yellow card for diving instead. Talat Gulabi hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Mutlu Balatekin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 84 minutes, Ramazan Pektay mouthed his way into the referee's book.
