An unexpectedly hard shot by Aktaç Tandoruk in the 23rd minute of play forced Tünel's goalkeeper Halil Salman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, KocaeLiSPoR's Rüknettin Ciray sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Halil Salman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Abdullah Dölek dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Deniz Çavlı, 3-0. KocaeLiSPoR's Deniz Çavlı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdullah Dölek in the 82nd minute of play. Lütfü Şencan was shown his second yellow card after 88 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 87 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tünel! Deniz Çavlı stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hasan Hüseyin Şahsuvaroğlu's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. After having played for 99 minutes, Hasan Hüseyin Şahsuvaroğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tünel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hasan Hüseyin Şahsuvaroğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. KocaeLiSPoR's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Tünel had won, even though KocaeLiSPoR had held more of the ball.
