A very good chance. 31 minutes into the match, Galatasaray Sportif A.Ş's goal looked a bit too open when Dilmen Tümcan came free, but Doğan Giyas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fikri Garipbaş was the one to do the kick off. Zekeriya Balkanlı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Batıhan Sadak in the 65th minute of the match. Sufi Guftar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute Ahmet Efe Enbiya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zekeriya Balkanlı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Şenol Uluşahin got free with Doğan Giyas in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lokman Isfahanlı's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zekeriya Balkanlı read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. If Fikri Garipbaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 78 played minutes Galatasaray Sportif A.Ş got a freekick which was hit by Sebastián Verón. Batıhan Sadak hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. If Fikri Garipbaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Hasan Tahsin Acunman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Doğan Giyas. The goal made the score 2-2. The supporters of Galatasaray Sportif A.Ş booed when Ödemis FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arkın İnanır didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zekeriya Balkanlı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sufi Guftar, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
