Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ferid Ünzil got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute, Korcan Sabuncu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 8th minute by Korcan Sabuncu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Hadi Akil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kunter Toktuğ having to interfere. Kunter Toktuğ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Korcan Sabuncu in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Mustafa Necati Hanbeyi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hakkı Bakkalbaşıoğlu. Gülsuyu SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mustafa Necati Hanbeyi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Hakkı Bakkalbaşıoğlu came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Safirspor's Arif Gaffar Selmi. But to his dismay, Arif Gaffar Selmi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Korcan Sabuncu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Korcan Sabuncu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kunter Toktuğ. That made the score 2-2 in the 23 minute of play. Hakkı Bakkalbaşıoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Gaffar Selmi in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Korcan Sabuncu in the 35th minute of play forced Safirspor's goalkeeper Kunter Toktuğ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kunter Toktuğ made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Korcan Sabuncu sent off a good shot on target. Arif Cengiz Ceberut hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. The audience held their breath when Abdullah Durak in the 40th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Hakkı Bakkalbaşıoğlu's left hand side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arif Gaffar Selmi made a kick off. Ferid Ünzil struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Kunter Toktuğ didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gülsuyu SK. 54 minutes into the match, Gülsuyu SK's goalkeeper Hakkı Bakkalbaşıoğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arif Gaffar Selmi. 57 minutes into the match, Gülsuyu SK's Altay Durucan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kunter Toktuğ narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kunter Toktuğ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hadi Akil, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arif Gaffar Selmi got free with Hakkı Bakkalbaşıoğlu in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arif Gaffar Selmi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Hakkı Bakkalbaşıoğlu made a huge save. When Korcan Sabuncu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 77 minutes had been played. Korcan Sabuncu hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Hadi Akil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kunter Toktuğ was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. With his leg Hakkı Bakkalbaşıoğlu managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Safirspor's Arif Gaffar Selmi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 90th minute of the match, Mustafa Necati Hanbeyi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hakkı Bakkalbaşıoğlu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gülsuyu SK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Safirspor for a fine match.
