KIRKLARELİ SK were furious when Akgün Ergüç was red carded, 44 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 43 minutes into the game, one of KIRKLARELİ SK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 47 played minutes BJK SK got a freekick which was hit by Tayyar Akar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Korcan Tunçhan was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Zülfü Özalpsan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Tanju Başesgioğlu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 60 minutes into the match, Zülfü Özalpsan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tanju Başesgioğlu. BJK SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zülfü Özalpsan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Arda Baybars Masum took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tanju Başesgioğlu. Tanju Başesgioğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Tanju Başesgioğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arda Baybars Masum, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Zülfü Özalpsan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mehmet Emin Saffet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Korcan Tunçhan in the 91st minute of play. Emrullah Başsoy took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mehmet Emin Saffet. KIRKLARELİ SK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind KIRKLARELİ SK's goalkeeper Mehmet Emin Saffet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the BJK SK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for KIRKLARELİ SK.
