Doruk Buğrahan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hakkı Bakkalbaşıoğlu having to interfere. 9 minutes into the game, Cafer Uğursan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gülsuyu SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KIRKLARELİ SK the free kick. Cafer Uğursan kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 12th minute Doruk Buğrahan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hakkı Bakkalbaşıoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of KIRKLARELİ SK booed when Gülsuyu SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Altay Durucan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hakkı Bakkalbaşıoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zülfü Özalpsan in the 20th minute of play. With a little luck, Gülsuyu SK's Hakkı Bakkalbaşıoğlu got control of the ball when Zülfü Özalpsan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hakkı Bakkalbaşıoğlu came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by KIRKLARELİ SK's Zülfü Özalpsan. But to his dismay, Zülfü Özalpsan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 38th minute, Şahap Tuluk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Korcan Sabuncu in the 41st minute of play forced KIRKLARELİ SK's goalkeeper Mehmet Emin Saffet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the game, Zülfü Özalpsan lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Hakkı Bakkalbaşıoğlu. The crowd rose to their feet as Zülfü Özalpsan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hakkı Bakkalbaşıoğlu. That made the score 4-0 in the 47 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Zülfü Özalpsan in the 57th minute of play forced Gülsuyu SK's goalkeeper Hakkı Bakkalbaşıoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zülfü Özalpsan in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hakkı Bakkalbaşıoğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Doruk Buğrahan scored 5-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hakkı Bakkalbaşıoğlu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Korcan Sabuncu charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Korcan Sabuncu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Korcan Sabuncu hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 76th match minute, Gülsuyu SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İsmail Cem Vedatoğulları to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Gülsuyu SK's Aktaç Beytekin got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 84th minute, Altay Durucan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 85 minutes of play, KIRKLARELİ SK's Zülfü Özalpsan made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hakkı Bakkalbaşıoğlu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gülsuyu SK's Cafer Uğursan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sefa İzci in the 92 minute of the game. Hakkı Bakkalbaşıoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zülfü Özalpsan in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The KIRKLARELİ SK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gülsuyu SK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
