An unexpectedly hard shot by Octav Marghescu in the 27th minute of play forced TOKATSPOR's goalkeeper Ardahan Bartu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Şimşek Bucuk, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 36 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ardahan Bartu was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind TOKATSPOR's goalkeeper Ardahan Bartu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Orçun Çetintürk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Huly in the 41st minute of play. Karhan Şennur's late challenge caught a Fenerbahçe SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karhan Şennur helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th minute, Karhan Şennur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abidin Topçay took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ardahan Bartu. TOKATSPOR's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
